Wondering if Tool is going to release a new album or not. I swear their music never gets old.

My high school German teacher is related to one of the guys in the band. She would occasionally be gone because she was at their concert, usually when they were playing in Vegas. She had a big signed poster of them in her classroom.

Tool will always be my favorite band. They’re just awesome music distilled into its purest form.

Also, this music video still gives me the creeps.

I’m 100% with you. Their style is so unique, nothing else comes close. Any song you hear by Tool, you’ll know it’s Tool within the first 30 seconds.

All Tool videos contain a dose of the creeps, haha. I’m used to it though :)

This is one hundred percent true, sucks they’re not on Spotify, I still have to go out and buy an album or three.

Accordingly to Maynard in a RS article I read they’re done writing and mixing just putting the final touches on it.

I honestly respect that they don’t have music on Itunes or Spotify.

There’s something about actually buying an album that makes you really appreciate the music forever, rather than just have songs in a digital cloud and having nothing to show for it. It’s just another thing that Tool does to make experiencing listening to their music so great.

Same here, I’ve heard that they don’t put their stuff on ITunes because they wan’t people to listen to the whole album and not just pick and choose.

Just a little inconvenience is all, I don’t mind the extra money because they are worth it lol.

They came through StL with Primus on a tour about a month or two ago, I was supposed to go with my brother & wife, but that fell through.

I would try to see them next time they are through.

Whenever I listen to Tool, it’s the full album I listen to 90% of the time. Probably one of the only bands where I can actually do that and enjoy literally every single song.

Like, take Spacehog for instance. In The Meantime is the only song off that damn album I can stand.

I know what you mean, even for a lot of bands I like there’s a always a few songs I have to tolerate if I’m listening through the whole thing.

Seriously though, I’ve been listening to Sober for god knows how long and it’s never aged a day in my head.
